Reserved Services Clause Samples

The RESERVED SERVICES clause defines specific services that are set aside or excluded from the scope of a contract, meaning they are not included in the standard service obligations of the provider. In practice, this clause lists particular tasks, functions, or areas that the service provider will not perform, such as certain maintenance activities, specialized consulting, or services reserved for another vendor. Its core function is to clearly delineate the boundaries of the service provider’s responsibilities, preventing misunderstandings and disputes over what is and is not covered under the agreement.
