Common use of Rescale Clause in Contracts

Rescale. When a check scale shows a variance in volume in excess of plus or minus 5%, the County or Purchaser may request the agency or bureau performing the original scale to make a rescale with a qualified scaler, if the logs or other forest products are being scaled in assembled rafts or in decks. Where logs or other products are scaled on the truck, the rescaler will rescale all loads until the cause of the erroneous scale is ascertained and corrected or proved within allowable limits set forth below.
