Requesting Assignment. To ensure that Management has sufficient information to make assignments in as timely a manner as is possible, an employee who desires consideration for assignment(s) in a subsequent semester or subsequent academic year must notify Management of this desire using the electronic application process provided by Management between January 25 and February 15 of each year.

Requesting Assignment. To ensure that Management has sufficient information to make assignments in as timely a manner as is possible, a part-time faculty member who desires consideration for assignment(s) in a subsequent semester or academic year must notify the Xxxxxxx, or designee, in writing, no later than February 1 for the following Summer session, Fall semester or academic year and July 1 for the following January term, or Spring semester in which the assignment is sought. Management will send an electronic reminder of these deadlines to part-time faculty at least two (2) weeks before these dates.

  • Acting Assignment (a) For the purpose of this Agreement, acting assignment means the assignment of an employee on an acting basis to a Postmaster or Senior Assistant position which is at a higher classification level than the position to which he is appointed. An employee will perform the duties of the higher classification level that may be required during the acting assignment in order to be entitled to receive the acting pay.

Any subcontracts shall include such language as may be required in various clauses contained within this Contract, exhibits, and attachments. The State shall not be responsible for fulfillment of the Contractor’s obligations to its subcontractors.

  • Teaching Assignment For teaching faculty, the teaching assignment will be one or a combination of programs, courses, or student originated studies offerings (all of which are collectively referred to as “academic offerings” below). For full-time faculty the normal teaching assignment will be a program. For part-time faculty the normal assignment is either a program and/or course(s), depending on the terms of their contract. In addition, faculty may support individual learning contracts.

  • Non-Assignment This Agreement shall not be assigned by either party without the written consent of the other party.

  • Training Assignments The Supervisor or designee may establish written training assignments to enable an employee to gain the additional experience and training required for the job for a period of time not to exceed two years. At the completion of the training assignment, the employee’s pay will be set no less than the entry rate of pay for the occupational pay band.

  • SUBLET/ASSIGNMENT The Lessee may not transfer or assign this Lease, or any right or interest hereunder or sublet said leased Premises or any part thereof without first obtaining the prior written consent and approval of the Lessor.

  • Acting Assignment Pay 181. Employees assigned by the Appointing Officer or its designee to perform a substantial portion of the duties and responsibilities of a higher classification shall receive compensation at a higher salary if all of the following conditions are met:

  • Transfer/Assignment (A) Subject to compliance with clause (B) of this Section 8, this Warrant and all rights hereunder are transferable, in whole or in part, upon the books of the Company by the registered holder hereof in person or by duly authorized attorney, and a new warrant shall be made and delivered by the Company, of the same tenor and date as this Warrant but registered in the name of one or more transferees, upon surrender of this Warrant, duly endorsed, to the office or agency of the Company described in Section 3. All expenses (other than stock transfer taxes) and other charges payable in connection with the preparation, execution and delivery of the new warrants pursuant to this Section 8 shall be paid by the Company.
