REQUEST TO OPEN. If either party desires to negotiate items which are proper subjects of negotiation, it shall notify the other party in writing, not sooner than one hundred and twenty (120) days nor later than sixty (60) days prior to the expiration date of the Agreement. Notification in writing from the Association shall be addressed to the Superintendent, and from the Board shall be addressed to the Association spokesperson. The first meeting shall be held thirty (30) days following notification, unless the parties agree otherwise.
