Request for Membership Clause Samples
The Request for Membership clause outlines the process by which an individual or entity can formally apply to join an organization, association, or group. Typically, this clause specifies the required information or documentation that must be submitted, such as an application form, references, or proof of eligibility, and may detail the review or approval process by the existing members or a governing body. Request for Membership. Any political subdivision in Oakland County that has law enforcement personnel and provides law enforcement services may be eligible to become a Voting Member of OAK-TAC. This includes colleges and universities in Oakland County that provide public safety coverage through the use of sworn police personnel. Any other legal entity whose membership would benefit OAK-TAC through training, partnerships, or other supporting functions, may be eligible to become a Non-Voting Member of OAK-TAC. All requests for membership shall be made in writing to the Secretary of OAK-TAC stating the prospective member’s ability to meet all of the requirements set forth in the Agreement. The request must be made by an authorized ▇▇▇▇▇▇ from the prospective member.

(a) Applications are received and processed on a first come, first served basis.
(b) In order to be eligible for membership:
1) be a 18 years or older 2) be sponsored by a current Member in good standing.

Candidates are encouraged to submit their application for membership within 15 days of the invitation being made, otherwise they cannot be guaranteed a spot.
(b) Applications are received and processed on a first come, first served basis with priority placed on residents and commercial tenants of Paradise Point or Mirador Investments properties.
(c) In order to be eligible for membership, a candidate must meet the following criteria:
(i) The candidate must be at least 21 years of age.
(ii) The candidate must either;
1) be a resident of a Paradise Point or Mirador Investment property; or,
2) be employed by a commercial tenant of a Paradise Point or El Mirador Investment property; or, 3) be sponsored by a current Member in good standing.
(d) Couples memberships can be sold to couples in a domestic relationship that live in the same dwelling. Proof of address is required.
(e) The Club does not discriminate against candidates for membership based on gender, race, religion, or creed.
