Common use of REPORTS, RECORDS, AND AUDIT Clause in Contracts

REPORTS, RECORDS, AND AUDIT. Contractor agrees to maintain all books, records, electronic data, and other documents relating to this Contract for a period of five (5) years after the end of each fiscal year included in this Contract. The City, its authorized employees, agents, representatives, and/or state auditors shall have full access to and the right to request, examine, copy, and/or audit any such materials during the term of the Contract and such retention period, upon prior written notice to Contractor. This includes the City’s right to audit and/or examine any of the Contractor’s documents and/or data as the City deems appropriate to protect the City’s interests.
