Reporting Illness. a. When the employee is sick, it is very important that employee contact easyJet as soon as possible to give information of employee’s illness. The employee must report to Crewing directly, no later than 90 minutes before his duty starts. The line manager must be timely informed as well via text or e-mail. b. Employee will need to provide the following information when speaking to employees line manager: - When do you expect to be back? - Are there problems associated with an accident at work? - Is there any way we can support you? - At what address will you be available during your illness? - At which telephone number can we reach you? - Any current (ongoing/scheduled) activities and appointments? - Whether the employee falls under one of the safety net provisions of the student (but not under which safety net provision he falls); - Whether there is a traffic accident involving a third party liable (recourse possibility). Employees are also required to remain contactable and to provide an address at which employee will spend employees sickness period. It is employee’s own responsibility to give easyJet the correct address and telephone number. c. If the employee is sick, there is a possibility that employee will be visited by an employee of easyJet or by the health and safety service. easyJet may invite the employee to come to the base for a meeting during employees illness, if the employee is able to.
