Reporting Fires a. The County Forestry Department agrees to make every effort to immediately notify the DNR of forest fires through County or Brule Dispatch. If immediate notification cannot be made through County or Brule Dispatch, the County Forestry Department shall report the location of the fire, and the action taken to the local DNR Forest Ranger as soon as possible, but no later than 24 hours from its knowledge of the forest fire. b. The DNR agrees to notify the County Forestry Department through their forestry office if they become aware of a fire burning on or threatening lands in the County Forest.
Reporting Fires. Purchaser shall remove from National Forest lands oily rags and used oil filters and shall prohibit use of glass bottles and jugs in Purchaser's Operations. Any smoking shall be done while sitting in an area at least 3 feet in diameter, cleared of flammable materials. Burning tobacco and matches shall be extinguished before they are properly disposed of. A water sprinkling tank truck will meet this requirement if provision is made to insure that the minimum of 300 gallons is available for fire suppression at all times. Ample power and hitch shall be readily available for promptly and safely moving tank over roads serving Sale Area.
