Common use of Replacement Faculty Clause in Contracts

Replacement Faculty. ‌ Full-time Faculty may serve as temporary substitute Faculty Members if they meet the minimum hiring guidelines in the discipline/program in which they are substituting. Full-time Faculty Members who have agreed to substitute with the approval of the appropriate Administrator shall be compensated at the current instructional substitution rate.

Full-time Faculty Members who have agreed to substitute with the approval of the appropriate Administrator shall be compensated at the current instructional substitution rate. Full-time substitute Faculty employed for less than one full semester are not part of the bargaining unit. Full- time substitute Faculty employed for one or more semesters are covered by this Contractual Agreement. See Section A 1, RECOGNITION, TITLES, AND FACULTY RANK, of this Contractual Agreement.
