Common use of Replacement Cost Clause in Contracts

Replacement Cost. Replacement Cost" as used herein, shall mean the actual replacement cost of the property requiring replacement from time to time, including an increased cost of construction endorsement, less exclusions provided in the standard form of fire insurance policy. In the event either party believes that the then full Replacement Cost has increased or decreased at any time during the Term, such party, at its own cost, shall have the right to have such full Replacement Cost redetermined by an independent accredited appraiser approved by the other, which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld or delayed.
