RENTER DEFAULT Clause Samples

The RENTER DEFAULT clause defines the consequences and procedures that apply if the renter fails to meet their obligations under the rental agreement, such as not paying rent or violating other terms. Typically, this clause outlines the steps the landlord may take in response to a default, which can include issuing notices, charging late fees, or initiating eviction proceedings. Its core practical function is to protect the landlord by providing clear remedies and processes in the event of a renter's breach, thereby ensuring accountability and minimizing potential losses.
