Common use of Remanufactured Products Clause in Contracts

Remanufactured Products. 69.1. There may, on occasion, be a requirement for the Contractor to provide a range of remanufactured products under this Framework Agreement. The Authority define ‘Remanufactured Products” as: A device is remanufactured where a used product is returned to at least its original performance with a warranty that is equivalent to, or better than that of newly manufactured products. Remanufacture involves dismantling of the product, the restoration and replacement of components and testing of the individual parts and whole product to ensure it is within the original design specification. Performance after remanufacture is expected to be at least to the original performance specification.
