Relief Pool Seniority Clause Samples
The Relief Pool Seniority clause establishes the order in which individuals from a relief or substitute pool are assigned to available positions based on their length of service or accumulated seniority. In practice, this means that when a temporary or substitute position becomes available, those with the highest seniority in the relief pool are given priority for assignment over newer members. This clause ensures a fair and transparent process for allocating work opportunities, rewarding long-term or more experienced relief staff, and reducing disputes over assignment decisions.
Relief Pool Seniority. Relief pool seniority is based on the date of appointment to the relief pool. When more than one employee is appointed to a pool at the time of a posting, then Group seniority shall determine the relative seniority of candidates in that pool.
