Relief Operator Sample Clauses
Relief Operator. A shift worker who is assigned as the operator to provide coverage for any scheduled or unscheduled absence of a shift worker from a shift. A relief operator’s posted work schedule is subject to change to provide appropriate coverage on all shifts.
Relief Operator. 28.1 In the event that an employee of OPDC is performing work on behalf of OPGC, the following articles of the OPGC agreement shall also apply to the employee of OPDC.
Relief Operator. 49.2.1. When Plant Operators, Senior Plant Operators or Power Plant Operator series are assigned to Relief Operator positions, they will be entitled to $1.75 per hour premium.
49.2.2. Except in emergencies, an employee will be notified of a change in his/her work schedule at least forty-eight (48) hours in advance of such change, preferably seven (7) calendar days in advance of such change. In the event that notice is under forty-eight (48) hours, management will first try to fill vacancy from the overtime list. Failure to fill from the overtime list will result in payment equivalent to call back pay in addition to any pay received from the shift worked for the Relief Operator.
49.2.3. It will be the intent of Management that relief employees will receive two (2) consecutive days off and will only be subject to split days off when schedule changes occur.
Relief Operator. Section 1: If an operator's relief operator does not report on time to the relief point, the operator waiting for relief will be given preference in continuing the run to completion at time and a half. The operator waiting for relief must notify the dispatcher as to his or her decision of whether he or she wishes to continue the run or be relieved within two hours.
Section 2: The employee shall be guaranteed no less than one (1) hour relief time if not relieved.
Section 3: If requested, and not relieved at the end of the first two hours, the operator may return the bus to the yard.

49.2.1.1. Effective the first pay period in July 2012, the Relief Operator pay amount will increase to $1.50 per hour.
49.2.1.2. Effective the first pay period in July 2013, the Relief Operator pay amount will increase to $1.75 per hour.

Relief Operator. A Relief Operator is a journeyman System Operator whose primary duties at one or more attended operating locations are to stand shifts as assigned, relieve other Operators and perform the duties of a Roving/Utility Operator. In addition, may be required to perform electrical, mechanical and building maintenance in substation/hydro plants and on related facilities.
Relief Operator. The parties acknowledge that this reopener does not obligate the District or Local 501 to change and/or modify any provisions of the MOU during the term of this MOU. Any changes/modifications to the MOU as a consequence of this reopener must be by mutual agreement. The failure to reach mutual agreement is not subject to the MOU grievance process; unfair labor practice proceedings before the Public Employment Relations Board; and/or proceedings in the Superior Court.
