Relief Employee. The term “relief employee” shall be an employee working on a year round basis, offered at least forty (40) hours of work per week in the Terminal Department, and eighty (80) hours of work in the Deck Department per work period, to relieve employees who are not scheduled for work or to work various assigned shifts. A Relief Deck employee has all necessary qualifications and documents to work any and all routes.
Relief Employee. A relief employee who is utilised to deliver a portion (being not less than 100 delivery points) of a round in addition to the round being delivered that day, will be paid the divide allowance prescribed in 14.2.1.
Relief Employee. A relief employee is one who is not in the bargaining unit and works on an intermittent basis throughout the year to cover short-term workload fluctuations, vacations, unexpected illness/injury or employee absences.
Relief Employee. Relief employee means an employee who is not normally scheduled to work but who may be called in to work to provide coverage as required.
Relief Employee. An employee with a minimum of thirty (30) company seniority points who is working on an as-needed basis.
Relief Employee. Relief employees shall progress through the wage range on the basis of "hours paid" with each one hundred and fifty-one (151) hours paid equal to one (1) calendar month's service.
Relief Employee. An employee who is assigned to work on an intermittent and sporadic basis without the guarantee of hours of work or a set work schedule, and who provides coverage during periods of Employer need due to vacation, sick, or other employee leaves of absence, provides staff for short-term projects and/or provides short-term supplementing of existing staffing levels (e.g., patient volume fluctuations). Relief employees are entitled to the same benefits afforded part-time employees, including the utilization of seniority in all relevant articles.
Relief Employee. (a) The home pattern for the relief employee is established by the first scheduled shift in the calendar year on or after January 1 in a relief position.
Relief Employee. If a relief employee does not commence work at the scheduled time after the employee has finished his or her ordinary shift, such unrelieved employee will be paid at the rate of double time.
