REGULAR WORK WEEK AND MAXIMUM HOURS Sample Clauses
The "Regular Work Week and Maximum Hours" clause defines the standard number of working days and hours an employee is expected to work within a typical week, as well as the maximum allowable hours. This clause typically specifies the start and end times of the workday, the total number of workdays per week, and sets a cap on weekly working hours, such as 40 hours per week. By clearly outlining these parameters, the clause ensures both employer and employee have a mutual understanding of work expectations and helps prevent excessive or unauthorized overtime, thereby promoting compliance with labor laws and supporting work-life balance.
