Common use of Registration of Assets Clause in Contracts

Registration of Assets. Any assets owned by the Fund may be registered in the name of the Fund, a nominee, or a “street name.” Any corporation, brokerage firm or transfer agent called upon to transfer any assets to or from the name of the Fund shall be entitled to rely upon instructions or assignments signed or purporting to be signed by the General Partner or its agents without inquiry as to the authority of the person signing or purporting to sign or as to the validity of any transfer to or from the name of the Fund.
