Reduction of Hours/Deletion of an Occupied Position. In the event that an employee has his/her hours of work permanently reduced, by more than ten (10) hours bi-weekly, or her position is deleted, the employee shall be given four (4) weeks notice or four (4) weeks pay in lieu thereof, unless otherwise mutually agreed between the Employer and the employee and a copy of such notice shall be forwarded to the Union.
