Recycling Material Clause Samples

The Recycling Material clause establishes requirements and guidelines for the use, handling, or sourcing of recycled materials within a contract or project. Typically, it specifies the percentage of recycled content required in products, outlines acceptable types of recycled materials, or mandates proper documentation to verify compliance. This clause ensures that environmental sustainability goals are met and helps reduce waste by promoting the use of recycled resources in production or construction processes.
Recycling Material. Upon ComEd’s request, Contractor shall inform ComEd’s Designated Representative of programs that Contractor provides for reusing and/or recycling Material, including waste from packaging and containers, used chemicals and equipment. ComEd, at its sole discretion, may direct Contractor to take back used material, packaging, and/or containers for reuse or recycling, in accordance with such Contractor’s program. Any cost adjustments associated with the reuse or recycling of Material shall be identified in the Purchase Order.

Exelon, at its sole discretion, may direct Contractor to take back used material, packaging, and/or containers for reuse or recycling, in accordance with such Contractor’s program. Any cost adjustments associated with the reuse or recycling of Material shall be identified in the Purchase Order.
Recycling Material. As of the date of the adoption of this ordinance the following items are declared to by recyclable: Aluminum Cans: Shall include used beverage cans only (don’t have to be crushed.)
