Common use of Recurring Payments Clause in Contracts

Recurring Payments. The use of your Account to make preauthorized electronic recurring bill payments constitutes an “electronic fund transfer” as defined by the federal Electronic Fund Transfer Act and Regulation E. You may be able to place a stop payment on a preauthorized electronic recurring bill payment in accordance with the terms of our Authorization Agreement for Preauthorized Payments. Any such stop payment order is subject to a Stop Payment Fee of $10.00 for each stop payment order you give. A stop payment/revocation order does not release you from the obligation to pay for goods and services purchased from merchants.
