Recurrent costs and planning. agreements A planning agreement may make provisions for the funding of recurrent costs associated with a public benefit. In such circumstances the planning agreement will include: • the specific purpose of the recurrent funding; • the nature and extent of the recurrent funding; • the time period over which the funding shall be provided; • any mechanism for the inflation of the recurrent funding; • the heads of consideration for any endowment fund or trust that may be required to be established to manage the recurrent funding; • circumstances in which funding would be renegotiated or revoked; and • any other matters relevant to the securing of the public interest in the achievement of an on-going public benefit.
