Record Document Submittals. Closeout or record documents include such items as record/as-built drawings, record copies of reviewed/approved submittals, test and inspection certificates, air balance reports, field measured equipment performance data, instruction periods, extra stock and similar items required by the Subcontract Documents. Record documents shall be delivered to the Contractor in the quantity and format required by the Subcontract Documents and the Contractor’s instructions at least thirty (30) days prior to the date of Substantial Completion unless otherwise directed by the Contractor. Submission of such closeout documents shall be accompanied by an itemized transmittal identifying all submitted documents and such transmittal shall also identify documents which are required but omitted from the initial submission. Omitted items required for Substantial Completion, such as final life safety test/inspection certificates and final/approved air balancing reports, shall be delivered to the Contractor at least two (2) business days prior to the date of Substantial Completion.
