Recommendations in practice. As mentioned before in the thesis, the aim of this research was to create a stepping stone to the debate of the CBAs in the Netherlands and to give some recommendations. These recommendations are displayed by bullet points.  A third objective and mediation party is necessary in the process of contracting a CBA. In terms of role-integrity, problems will occur when the developer is also guardian of the process. Multiple interests for the developer are at stake, and the process might be undermined. The same goes for the community coalition, which can be unbalanced due to an asymmetric distribution of power within the coalition.  The process of deliberation is time consuming, but will be an investment in plan- quality. Mutual interests are being developed by deliberation and a problem transcending attitude will result from this. Once the contract is signed, the process might continue quicker and not in a stalemate.  The CBA fits in the contemporary society of community awareness, another role distribution and  The process of contracting a CBA should remain open and inclusive. The stakeholder analysis seems to be the most important part in identifying all the relevant stakeholders, but might not be complete. Stakeholders which appear later in the process should have the chance to be included.  The CBA functions as a mutual gain approach. The developer gains a better project, in which (if the process is done properly) stalemates and lawsuits are evaded, while the community has the chance to deliberate with the developer about the project ands its benefits.  Further research needs to be done to see how this CBA can be legally implemented in the paragraph of public acceptability and practicability.
