RECOGNITION SECTION A - DEFINITIONS. The term “employee,” “bargaining unit member” or “member” when used hereinafter in this Agreement shall refer to all KEA bargaining unit members. The District agrees not to negotiate with or recognize any organization other than the Association for the duration of this Agreement. The term teacher is used to refer to all professional employees within the bargaining unit covered by this agreement whose employment is regulated by the Michigan Teacher Tenure Act. The term ancillary staff is used to refer to all professional employees within the bargaining unit whose employment is not regulated by the Michigan Teachers tenure Act.
