RECOGNITION AND COMPOSITION Clause Samples
The 'Recognition and Composition' clause defines how certain items, rights, or obligations are formally acknowledged and categorized within the context of the agreement. Typically, this clause outlines the criteria or process by which assets, liabilities, or other relevant elements are identified and included in the contractual relationship, such as specifying when a party's contribution is recognized or how components of a deliverable are determined. Its core practical function is to ensure clarity and consistency in how key elements are treated under the contract, thereby reducing ambiguity and potential disputes regarding what is included or excluded.
