Receiver Timer. The receiver timer is used to waiting for a while to correct join request messages from others. The flowchart is shown in Figure 5.5. When a receiver timer is expired, the receiver checks whether it is the lowest IP address node in join request list. If it has the lowest IP address, it sets itself as a director of a group.
