Reading Level Clause Samples

The Reading Level clause sets a required standard for the complexity or grade level of written materials provided under an agreement. Typically, it specifies that documents, instructions, or communications must be written at or below a certain grade level, such as eighth grade, to ensure accessibility and comprehension by a broad audience. This clause helps ensure that all parties, regardless of their literacy skills, can understand the content, thereby reducing misunderstandings and promoting clear communication.
