Re-training and Upgrading Clause Samples

Re-training and Upgrading. The parties jointly and individually will undertake with the assistance of Canada Manpower and through recognized Provincial or local adult training programmes, if necessary, to retrain and upgrade regular employees to enable them to become qualified and capable of performing new jobs resulting from or created by the technological or mechanical changes. The Employer will endeavour to establish an apprenticeship program in accordance with current Apprenticeship Board requirements.
