Re-Entry Services. Upon transfer of ODOC Inmates to County Facility, COUNTY, via Sponsors, Inc. shall use the LS/CMI to measure individual criminogenic risk and need factors for ODOC Inmates as well as a University of Rhode Island Change Assessment (URICA) and specialized assessments for domestic violence and sex offenders. The LS/CMI shall be used to develop individual transition plans in accordance with the identified risk and needs and the URICA used to assess an ODOC Inmate’s stage of change and appropriateness for specific programming. COUNTY, via Sponsors, Inc., shall provide ODOC Inmates with case management services, employment services through the Sponsors, Inc. Reentry Resource Center (RRC), cognitive skill building classes (Moral Reconation Therapy), mentoring and other services that may be part of their specific transition plan. The services that COUNTY shall provide to ODOC Inmates are detailed below:
Re-Entry Services. Before their release from jail, students are provided with supports to help them make the transition from life behind bars to the outside world of work, education, and community. Students, who are willing to work and take advantage of the educational opportunities through the ACSO Jail Education Program, will find that they have more and diverse opportunities for success after their release.
Re-Entry Services. Services provided to inmates re-entering society from jail, with the goals of improving the inmate’s quality of life, increasing public safety and reducing recidivism.
