RDAP Availability Clause Samples
The RDAP Availability clause defines the requirement for the Registration Data Access Protocol (RDAP) service to be accessible and operational. In practice, this clause typically sets minimum uptime standards, specifies acceptable maintenance windows, and may outline procedures for reporting and resolving outages. Its core function is to ensure that users and stakeholders have reliable access to registration data, thereby supporting transparency and operational continuity in domain management.
RDAP Availability. Refers to the ability of the RDAP-RDDS service for the TLD, to respond to queries from an Internet user with appropriate data from the relevant Registry System. If 51% or more of the RDAP testing Probes see the RDAP-RDDS service as unavailable during a given time, the RDAP-RDDS service will be considered unanswered.
