Common use of Quartermaster System Clause in Contracts

Quartermaster System. A quartermaster system shall be in effect for employees required to wear police uniforms. The Employer will issue a list of required clothing and equipment and a description of the mechanics of the quartermaster system. Required uniforms and equipment shall be provided to each employee as follows: 6.5.1. Required uniforms and equipment shall be provided without cost to the employee as set forth in Police Department Policy as approved and/or amended by the Chief of Police. 6.5.2. Optional uniforms and equipment may be purchased by the employees at their own expense. 6.5.3. Required and optional uniforms and equipment shall be replaced without cost to the employee when they become unserviceable.
