Common use of Quantities Clause in Contracts

Quantities. 6.1 The quantity and description of the Goods will be as set out in the acknowledgement of order issued by the Seller to the Buyer, or as otherwise agreed by the parties in writing. All descriptions, illustrations, technical specifications, particulars of weight or dimensions, drawings, descriptive matter, specifications and advertising issued by the Seller or contained in the Seller’s catalogues or brochures are issued or published for the sole purpose of giving an approximate idea of the Goods represented by or described in them. They will not form part of the Contract and this is not a sale by sample.
