Qualifications for Promotions. All classifications below must maintain an unrestricted Michigan Driver’s License, as required by Township Policy. 1. Michigan Fire Fighters Training Council (MFFTC) Firefighter I and II 2. Michigan Fire Fighters Training Council (MFFTC) Fire Officer I and II 3. Michigan Fire Fighters Training Council (MFFTC) HAZMAT Awareness & Operation Certification 4. Michigan Department of Public HealthEMS Division Basic EMT Licensure (at minimum) 5. National Incident Management System IS-100, 200, 700, and 800 6. National Incident Management System ICS-300 course within one (1) year of obtaining position 7. Five (5) years as a full-time Fire Fighter on Chesterfield Township Fire Department. If two (2) or more Fire Fighters do not meet this requirement nor do not apply, then the applicant pool shall be expanded to ensure at least two (2) members are eligible to test 1. Three (3) years as full-time Sergeant or three (3) years as full-time Fire Inspector in the Chesterfield Township Fire Department.
