Qualifications for Assignment. 11.2.1 All appointments and assignments to any and all vacancies and openings will be made after consultation with the Building Principal involved, and shall be based on qualifications, experience and seniority. 11.2.2 Unsuccessful applicants who are existing employees of the District in the negotiating unit shall be furnished with written notification of their unsuccessful candidacy, and upon request, a written explanation as to why they did not receive the appointment. 11.2.3 All appointments and assignments to any and all vacancies are the sole responsibility of the Superintendent of Schools and the Board of Education.

(x) Absence of Certain Changes. Between December 31, 1998, and the date of this Agreement, there has not been: (i) Any damage, destruction or loss (whether or not covered by insurance) adversely affecting the Broadcast Assets in a material manner; (ii) Any sale, assignment, lease or other transfer or disposition of any of the properties or assets used or intended for use in the operation of the Stations except in the ordinary course of business, or in connection with the acquisition of similar property or assets in the normal and usual course of business; (iii) Any contract, obligation, or commitment entered into in connection with the operation of the Stations except in the normal and usual course of business; and (iv) Any material change in the accounting methods or practices of the Stations, or the depreciation or amortization policies or rates with respect to the Stations.
Qualifications for Assignment. To comply with the provisions of F.S. 1006.12(2), ▇▇▇▇▇ assigned will have undergone criminal background checks, drug testing and a psychological evaluation and be certified law enforcement officers, as defined in F.S. 943.10(1), and must be employed by the Law Enforcement Agency as defined in F.S. 943.10(4). The powers and duties of the LEAO shall continue throughout the LEAO’s assignment at a school.

Qualifications for Assignment. Vacancies shall be filled from within the system when such personnel are best qualified for those vacancies. All professional instructional appointments and assignments to any and all vacancies and openings shall be based on qualifications and experience and shall be made to certified personnel when available. Every unsuccessful applicant within the system will be advised of the filling of the vacancy as soon as possible after the same is filled. Unsuccessful applicants who are existing employees of the Board in the negotiating unit represented by the Association shall upon request be furnished with an explanation as to why they did not receive the appointment to such vacancy.
