Common use of PV Module Clause in Contracts

PV Module. (a) The wattage range of the PV modules will be 10.0-11.9 Wp for Model IIA & 12.0-14.0 Wp for Model IIB & it should be at 16.40 Volts for both the Models (under standard test conditions (STC). The open circuit voltage of the PV modules under STC should be at least 21.0 Volts for all 12 V Models. (b) The module should preferably have an arrangement (stand) for mounting at the optimum angle in the direction facing the sun. (c) In case of thin film solar cell modules, the specified values refer to the power output after the initial degradation. (d) The terminal box on the module should have a provision for opening for replacing the cable if required.
