PV Module Clause Samples

PV Module. The photovoltaic modules must be accompanied with the certificate of approval according to CEI EN 61215 (photovoltaic modules in crystalline silicon) and CEI EN 61730-1 and 61730-2. The photovoltaic modules must be accompanied with a statement of the values of NOCT and of power/temperature coefficient. The certificates must be issued by laboratories accredited for specific tests required to verify the modules, in accordance with UNI CEI EN ISO / IEC 17025. These laboratories should be accredited EA (European Accreditation Agreement) or must have established mutual recognition agreements with EA.
PV Module. (a) The wattage range of the PV modules will be 10.0-11.9 Wp for Model IIA & 12.0-14.0 Wp for Model IIB & it should be at 16.40 Volts for both the Models (under standard test conditions (STC). The open circuit voltage of the PV modules under STC should be at least 21.0 Volts for all 12 V Models. (b) The module should preferably have an arrangement (stand) for mounting at the optimum angle in the direction facing the sun. (c) In case of thin film solar cell modules, the specified values refer to the power output after the initial degradation. (d) The terminal box on the module should have a provision for opening for replacing the cable if required.
