PUBLIC BID OPENING. Anyone may attend the opening. It is considered a public opening. The PCO will read the names of the respondents. Depending upon the complexity of the bid, the PCO may read the bids aloud or allow bids be available for viewing by the public during the bid opening. Once the bid opening has concluded, the bids will not be available for viewing until the Intent to Award has been posted. An initial bid tabulation will be posted to the website as soon as feasible. Information identified as proprietary by the submitting Vendor, in accordance with the ITB Technical Specifications and State statute, will not be posted. If the State determines submitted information should not be withheld, in accordance with the Public Records Act, or if ordered to release any withheld information, said information may then be released. The submitting bidder will be notified of the release and it shall be the obligation of the submitting bidder to take further action, if it believes the information should not be released.
PUBLIC BID OPENING. A public bid opening will be held virtually on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at 2:30p.
PUBLIC BID OPENING a. The purpose of a Public Bid Opening is for reading of bids received. No award will be made or implied at this time.
b. Only the following bid information will be read at the bid opening session:
(1) Bidder's name.
(2) Aggregate amount for all items (award to one bidder), except when award is to be made on a by-item basis (split awards for the items or combinations of items that result in the lowest aggregate cost to the City).
(3) Submittal of Bid Security (if applicable).
(4) Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) goals (if applicable).
(5) Acknowledgement of any addendum to solicitation (if applicable).
c. Review of bids or related documents will NOT be allowed at the bid opening.

PUBLIC BID OPENING. If you are planning to attend the public bid opening, you must notify the contact person listed in the cover letter of this IFB Five (5) working days before the bid opening date specified in Section I – Projected Timetable. If you and/or your representative require reasonable accommodation to participate in the Public Bid Opening, you must contact the Invitation for Bid Agreement No.C08.014 contract analyst identified in this package and identify what reasonable accommodation(s) is required for you to participate. At the time of the public bid opening, the dollar amount of each bid shall be read. The contract award is subject to a complete review of the entire bid proposal for compliance and adherence to the IFB requirements, verification of all calculations and claimed preferences, and compliance with DVBE Mandatory participation requirements, if applicable.
