PTO increments Sample Clauses
The PTO increments clause defines the minimum units of time in which paid time off (PTO) can be taken by employees. Typically, this means specifying whether PTO must be used in full days, half days, or even hourly increments. For example, an employer may require that PTO be taken in no less than four-hour blocks, preventing employees from requesting very small amounts of time off. This clause ensures administrative clarity and consistency in tracking PTO usage, helping both employers and employees manage leave more efficiently.
