Common use of Protective Hearing Clause in Contracts

Protective Hearing. The Company will establish a noise abatement program on an area by area basis. (i) Personal hearing protection will be required for employees working in areas where noise levels are 90 db or higher on a time-weighted average. (ii) In areas that are identified as 90 db or higher the Company will implement such measures as are reasonable and practical to achieve a level of 85 db in the identified area.
