Common use of PROPRIETARY SOLUTIONS Clause in Contracts

PROPRIETARY SOLUTIONS. ‌ Contractors are discouraged from proposing proprietary solutions in response to OASIS task order requirements that necessitate the Contractor’s proprietary process, system, maintenance, and/or solution that would prevent competition at a future point or require sustained and non-competitive support. If a proprietary solution is proposed by a Contractor for a given task order requirement, the Contractor shall mark their proposal accordingly and make it clear to the OCO all limitations and costs associated with the solution.
