Proposition A Percentage. The Proposition A Revenue shall initially refer to an amount equal to 20.789% of the City's maintenance and operations voter-approval tax rate, as such term is defined and used in Chapter 26 of the Texas Tax Code (the "Voter-Approval Tax Rate"), such percentage being the portion of the Voter-Approval Tax Rate approved by City voters to fund Project Connect for the 2020 tax year ($0.0875 of the City's $0.4209 of the operations and maintenance tax rate per $100 of taxable assessed valuation) (the "Proposition A Percentage"); subject, however, to the deductions described in Section 2.2(b) below. Delinquent collections and penalties and interest related to tax years prior to tax year 2020 are excluded from this Agreement.
