Proposal and quotation Sample Clauses
The 'Proposal and quotation' clause defines the process by which a service provider or seller presents an offer to a client, outlining the scope of work, pricing, and terms. Typically, this clause specifies that any proposal or quotation provided is not binding until formally accepted by the client, and may set time limits for acceptance or clarify that prices are subject to change before acceptance. Its core function is to establish clear expectations for both parties regarding how offers are made and accepted, thereby reducing misunderstandings and ensuring that both sides are aware of when a binding agreement is formed.
