PROJECT INSPECTORS. RESPSONSIBILITIES 3.1. The each individual assigned to a Project as a Project Inspector shall have personal knowledge obtained by conducting inspections of all parts of the work of construction in all stages of its progress as required by the Codes or by the circumstances of construction to assure that the work of the Project is in accordance with the approved contract documents for the Project and the Codes. 3.2. The Project Inspector(s)’ performance of Project inspection services shall be under the direction of the Architect for the Project. All inconsistencies or seeming errors in the contract documents encountered during construction of the Project shall be reported by the Project Inspector to the Architect for the Project in writing for interpretation and instructions. In no case, however, shall the instructions of the architect be construed to cause work to be done which is not in conformity with the approve contract documents.
PROJECT INSPECTORS. The Inspector Firm shall provide qualified Project Inspector(s) who are acceptable to the Architect for the Project and who can provide competent and adequate inspection services as defined by Building Standards Administrative Code (Part 1 Title 24, C.C.R) Article 5, 4-333 and Article 6, 4-343 (including amendments thereto) for the Project. The Project Inspector(s) are appointed by the District upon being satisfactory to the Architect and the Division of the State Architect (“DSA”).
