Common use of Project Description Clause in Contracts

Project Description. The Interconnection Customer is constructing a 20MW solar powered generating facility (the “Small Generating Facility”) to be located in Troy, New York. The Small Generating Facility will consist of five (5) TMEIC 4.2MVA solar inverters and one (1) TMEIC 3.36MVA inverter. Five of the six inverters are coupled with a 630V/34.5kV 4.2MVA step-up transformer and the sixth is coupled with a 630V/34.5kV 3.36MVA transformer. The output of the six step- up transformers are aggregated into a medium voltage collection circuit (“Collection Feeder Line”). The home run of the feeder ties to the Interconnection Customer’s Collector Station (“Hilltop Solar Collector Station”) where it is stepped up to 115kV via a 25MVA 34.5/115kV transformer. The Point of Interconnection (“POI”) for the Small Generating Facility is located on the Connecting Transmission Owner’s 115kV Eastover Schaghticoke Line 10 between existing structures 348 and 349. The POI will be approximately 7.52 miles from the Connecting Transmission Owner’s Schaghticoke Substation and 2.14 miles from the Connecting Transmission Owner’s Eastover Substation. The interconnection to the New York State Transmission System will be via a tap. The Point of Change of Ownership (“PCO”) shall be at the line side connection of the Interconnection Customer’s disconnect switch located on the Interconnection Customer’s termination structure inside the Hilltop Solar Collector Substation. The Connecting Transmission Owner shall own the insulators, whips, and hardware connections to the Interconnection Customer’s disconnect switch. The POI and PCO are detailed in Figure 1 in Attachment 3.
