Common use of PROHIBITED DECKING AREAS Clause in Contracts

PROHIBITED DECKING AREAS. Purchaser shall not deck right-of-way timber in the following areas:  Within the grubbing limits.  Within 50 feet of any stream.  In locations that interfere with the construction of the road prism.  In locations that impede drainage.  On slopes greater than 40%.  Against standing trees. SUBSECTION GRUBBING 3-10 GRUBBING Purchaser shall remove all stumps between the grubbing limits specified on the TYPICAL SECTION SHEET. Purchaser shall also remove stumps with undercut roots outside the grubbing limits. Purchaser shall remove stumps using a hydraulic mounted excavator unless authorized in writing by the Contract Administrator. Grubbing must be completed before starting excavation and embankment.
