Common use of Prohibited Articles Clause in Contracts

Prohibited Articles. Contractor and any of its employees or other personnel brought to the Site or any CCI location shall not possess or bring onto the Site or any CCI location any illegal drugs, prescription drugs for which the individual has no prescription, legal drugs in excessive amounts, drug paraphernalia, alcoholic beverages, firearms and other weapons, contraband, or stolen property. If any of the above articles are brought onto the Site or any CCI location, the individual possessing the prohibited articles will be ordered off the premises and may not, in CCI’s sole discretion, be permitted to re-enter. CCI’s personnel may conduct inspections and searches of any individual or property on the Site or any CCI location without prior announcement at such times and at such locations as CCI considers appropriate. Contractor shall inform its employees, Subcontractors and other personnel of the provisions of this Section 7.6 to ensure compliance. If, in CCI’s sole judgment it is desirable, the Contractor at CCI’s request shall remove any of Contractor’s employees, Subcontractors or other personnel from the Work and/or CCI’s Site. CCI SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY TO CONTRACTOR AND CONTRACTOR AGREES, WITHOUT LIMIT AND AT ITS OWN COST, TO RELEASE, DEFEND, INDEMNIFY AND HOLD THE CCI GROUP HARMLESS FOR, FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RESULTING FROM ANY SUCH REMOVAL.
