Programme and Planning. Purpose The purpose of the program and planning is to define the Employers requirements for the time, cost and resource planning and control when using the NEC contract.
Programme and Planning. The Contractor adheres to the agreed programmes. The Contractor adheres to the Employer’s maintenance planning system. All defects and potential failures will be recorded and are properly investigated before they are planned for. Defects are listed and corrective actions planned according to priority. Where a plant or system shut down is required the work will be planned in conjunction with the relevant Production Manager. The Contractor’s is expected to make use of software project management tools to assist them in the planning and scheduling of their work load and have the functionality to provide the Employer with a project plan, in the event of an outage, or a schedule of work for day-to-day activities. In the event of an outage or project related work, the original duration, remaining duration, back log, delays experienced etc, are to be clearly reflected in a general planning report. The Employer’s Supervisor shall meet with the Contractor on a daily basis to discuss the activity list that must be performed. The Contractor shall be required to perform these activities in accordance with all relevant information, guidelines and restrictions contained in each work package, and report back to the Supervisor on a daily basis. Completion of each activity shall consist of the closing of the completed activity on the Employer’s Computerised Maintenance Management System (SAP), and the receipt by the Employer of the written record of the activity as completed by the Contractor.
Programme and Planning. The Consultant prepares and submits at the stated intervals, all programming documentation described in this section, the layout and level of detail of which is subject to the Employer’s Agent acceptance.
