Common use of Program Model Clause in Contracts

Program Model. Faculty that are on-the-ground and are teaching students will be compensated using the formula below. Faculty that do not teach the course on-the-ground and have partnered with a local institution and serve as a facilitator will be compensated using the formula below. Faculty develops a customized research/internship assignment and syllabus for student. While in country, the faculty communicates regularly with the student to ensure that academic requirements are met and issues final grade. In most cases, the faculty will travel to the internship site to assess the site prior to student departure. Student has identified an internship/research opportunity and has worked with a third party organization to coordinate learning goals and logistics. Student has identified a faculty that is willing to serve as the instructor on record and work with student regarding the learning contract. Participating Faculty and staff must familiarize themselves with all of the information below to ensure that they are well prepared and are knowledgeable of the correct steps that need to be taken in the event of an emergency or crisis.
