Professional Development Needs Assessment Sample Clauses
Professional Development Needs Assessment. The District will administer to certificated employees a Professional Development Needs Assessment at least every three (3) years.
1. Such Needs Assessment may be accomplished with the assistance of the Association, other State agencies, or colleges and universities. A joint committee shall be formed to assist in the Professional Development Needs Assessment survey and to use its results to prepare recommendations for Professional Development based on identified building and district goals. The committee shall be comprised of three (3) representatives selected by the Association and three (3) representatives selected by the District. Recommendations of the committee shall be presented at Labor Management meetings and shall be given priority consideration in both district- and building-directed professional development.
2. The Association may recommend to the District topics for after-school courses, workshops, conferences, and programs designed to improve the quality of instruction in the implementation of new curriculum.
3. This Needs Assessment does not preclude individual employees or the Association from presenting Professional Development program suggestions any time.
Professional Development Needs Assessment. The School Districts shall conduct a Professional Development Needs Assessment each year to determine professional development needs. The Professional Development Committee will develop and administer the survey annually.
