Common use of Professional Certification Clause in Contracts

Professional Certification. As part of the Permit application process and at Licensee’s sole expense, a qualified and experienced professional engineer, or an employee or contractor of Licensee who has been approved by the District, must participate in the Pre- Construction Survey, conduct the Post-Construction Inspection and certify that Licensee’s Communications Facilities can be and were installed on the identified Poles in compliance with the standards in Paragraph 4.1 and in accordance with the Permit. The professional engineer’s, (or representative’s as described above), qualifications must include experience performing such work, or substantially similar work, on electric transmission or distribution systems. The District, at its discretion, may waive the requirements of this Paragraph 6.3, with respect to service drops.
